St. Mercies healing hands hospital was born on the 14th day of January 2020 St. Mercies healing hands hospital as we have today was birthed on divine plan and vision of Dr. Baribefii Paagolah Nwizia It was unconnected with his long vision of seeing a healthy community of people especially the less privileged within the Ogoni axis of the Nigeria community. Even though as at then, the agenda had not been very vivid about the location, it was divinely arranged that I found myself in Sunrise Hospital limited – Bori , here the unfolding was clearly conceived. Like the early hospital in the world, the outbreak of sickness and death, war give concerned for specialized care, thereby creating room for the obvious. We can agreed that St. mercies is a divine mandate borned -out of the passion to treat and educate the uninformed and less privilege in the society of the Niger delta especially the ogoinis’ and her neighbors sitting on the coastal bite of the Niger. The name St. Mercies healing hands is gotten to immortalize my mother Mrs. Mercy Nwizia who through great moral values, care and prudence was able as a widow to carter and ensure my holistic growth and development. It holds that not only material things are great but values and courage which are priceless. ST. MERCIES HEALING HANDS HOSPITAL LIMITED is less than 5 years in existence; yet, great result especially in the saving of life. She had over the few months treated patients without fund and given immeasurable discount of over 10% to missionaries as her own quota to help mission work and humanity at large. St. Mercies Hospital as part of his vision to offer health educational enlightenment, train and give support to health and health care promotion. She hopes to establish independent body to ensure and perform such tasks in the nearest future. St. Mercies Healing hands Hospital is here with us to serving humanity through knowledge, skills and excellence. St. Mercies healing hands hospital had over 15 staffs and 70 in-training Auxiliaries making her a viable health institution promoting and providing health care in this part of the world. In recognition to the above, individuals, families, NGOs, Churches and other spirited organization had been throwing their gratitude to God and us for the establishment of this noble gesture.
